About Limitless Ranch

Limitless Ranch is located 8 miles east of Luck, WI, and is owned and operated by Sara Rank and her brother Jay. Sara grew up in Stillwater Minnesota, when it used to be a small town. When asked why she moved to Luck, she answered, “I love it up here; it’s still the country and not over built. I wanted my youngest son to go to a school where the teachers actually knew each student and I wanted to open a riding program and therapeutic riding center in an area that needed one.”
At the age of 7, Sara basically became a barn rat - she worked for lessons, trailering, and showing by mucking stalls, chores, and farm management. As she learned, she was given more opportunities to ride and show other horses in a large hunter/jumper barn. This progressed to teaching lessons, and working with more horses. She simply worked her way up, and was blessed with the opportunity to learn from the best in the business.
You’d think running a ranch would keep Sara busy enough, but she also is an instructor for Courage Kenny Riders in Stillwater, MN, and gives tours at Fawn Doe Rosa once in awhile. She also is the founder and director for T.H.U.G. Life Ministry (Truly Humble Under God) - a homeless teen program in Somerset, WI. T.H.U.G. was created to help homeless and family-less teens by providing homes, food, clothing, and rides so they can stay in school and not fall through the cracks. T.H.U.G. has been a 501c3 for 8 years now, and has had more than 400 kids come thru its program.

Sara doesn’t just help people overcome their obstacles or circumstances, but she herself is an overcomer. Cancer came knocking on Sara’s door 3 years ago and is now the driving force behind the passion she has for life and her ranch. “After being diagnosed with cancer, going thru chemo and multiple surgeries, I came out on the other side with a passion to not coast anymore. God gave me a love and passion for horses and I know how much they give back to us. I want to give that to others. But it’s also just the gift of this place [Limitless Ranch]; I walk out every morning to cows mooing to their fuzzy calves, the goats playing their funny games, the horses nickering to be fed, Tigre, the cat, who does chores with me every morning, the riders who come and the look on their face when they believe in themselves or overcome a fear, the look on a parents face when they see their child who cannot walk - ride a horse. I don’t want to live a limited life anymore, and I want others to see they don’t have to either.”
Sara simply has a heart for the underdog, for those that feel they aren’t enough. You can see that in the passion she has for her riders, her animals, and T.H.U.G.. Her heart is even seen in the name of the ranch - Limitless Ranch. Riders, friends, and visitors who experiencing the ranch will come to know they are always enough and that their dreams can become reality. Sara says that, “When we overcome what holds us back, we become Limitless!”
